Sarah Perconte

Sarah Perconte is a lyric coloratura soprano from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This summer, she performed with the Miami Music Festival as an apprentice artist, singing the role of Frantik in The Cunning Little Vixen. She was also seen at MMF in the summer of 2016 in the role of Martha Sheldon in The Crucible, and covering the role of The Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. Her other recent roles include the title role in Patience with the Pittsburgh Savoyards, as well as the cover of Zerlina in Undercroft Opera’s production of Don Giovanni. Sarah has covered several roles with Undercroft Opera, including Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare, and Adele in Die Fledermaus. In the summer of 2015, she performed as a young artist with the Emerald City Artist Institute in the roles of Squirrel and Bergère in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges. Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hill University and her Master of Music degree in vocal performance from West Virginia University. This coming November, she will be returning with Undercroft Opera in their 2017 season as Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario.
